The Nourish, Flourish & Thrive group, coordinated by Ciara D in partnership with Lenadoon Women's Group, has come to a close, and what a journey it has been! This wellbeing-focused programme created a safe and supportive space for women to slow down, connect, and explore what it means to truly care for themselves and one another.

Over several weeks, participants engaged in a range of thoughtful sessions, including restorative circles, mindfulness practices, emotional intelligence, gaining new tools for self-awareness and managing emotion, as well as drugs & alcohol awareness, deepening their understanding of the impacts and strategies for informed choices.

The atmosphere was warm, open, and deeply affirming, with many women sharing how much they valued the chance to simply be present with others and reflect on their own personal growth.

One participant reflected that their child said, “I’ve got my mum back” - a powerful statement about the impact of this work. The group cultivated not just inner calm but also a powerful sense of community, building trust, sharing stories, and celebrating the strength and resilience each participant brought.
