In collaboration with Meath Travellers Workshop, St Comgall’s and St Mary’s Primary Schools hosted two remarkable events showcasing Irish Traveller culture. These immersive experiences included a fully restored Barrel-Top Wagon, a traditional Traveller tent, tinsmith demonstrations, and storytelling that brought the community’s history and identity to life.

CRJI is proud to have supported these important events, recognising the deep significance of Traveller culture in our society. Special thanks to Ann-Marie, our dedicated staff member, who played a key role in organising and facilitating these activities. Through initiatives like these, we continue to foster greater understanding and respect for the Traveller community, ensuring that their voices, traditions, and stories are heard and celebrated.
