We are a community-based restorative justice organisation that provides a range of services aimed at resolving and reducing conflict.

Founded in 1998 we aspire to build a tolerant, responsive, and inclusive community by providing restorative justice services to local areas.

We adhere to restorative justice standards and promote the non-violent reparation of harm.

Our safe, confidential and accredited services are available to everyone at no cost to participants

Our services include victim support, youth mentoring, advice, and mediation. CRJI is accredited by the Department of Justice.

The Restorative Justice Approach

Restorative justice focuses on repairing harm caused by wrong-doing rather than simply punishing offenders.

It is a community-driven approach to conflict resolution that emphasizes accountability, healing, and reconciliation between the harm-doer, the harmed, and the affected community. These initiatives promote understanding and empower individuals to address harm and rebuild relationships. It promotes understanding and reconciliation among all parties involved.

Through restorative practices, communities create spaces for meaningful dialogue, where conflicts are resolved collaboratively, leading to lasting resolutions and stronger connections among members.
